With summer just around the corner, these children's illustrations are inspired by my childhood memories of growing up in South Africa in the early 2000s.
These illustrated scenes depict children drawing with chalk on the pavement while waiting for the ice cream man or helping their parents in the garden. However, my personal favourite is the memory of running through the garden sprinkler to keep cool on those hot summer days.
