Each month I take part in an illustration challenge hosted by Linda van den Berg on instagram. She posts an image of an empty scene or environment and challenges us to illustrate characters within it. This children's illustration consists of a girl on her scooter waving at a mermaid in the sea, set in a cute pastel coastal town.
